DALLAS, Feb. 10, 2000 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of Directors of Transcontinental Realty Investors, Inc. (NYSE:TCI) Thursday declared a first quarter dividend of 18 cents per share, a 20 percent increase over quarterly dividends paid in 1999. The dividend will be payable March 31, 2000, to stockholders of record as of March 15, 2000.
The 18 cents per share dividend represents the third increase in distributions and 14th consecutive quarterly payment made by TCI since third quarter 1995.
