BullTrade.com Special Members See Spectacular Gains in 1999

Later in July, Western Wire eclipsed $40/share, allowing for another 30% gain.

Great picks continued in July as a recommendation to buy Viewcast.com (NASDAQ:VCST) under $8 was made. By the following day, on takeover speculation alone, the stock jumped to $10, allowing for a quick 25% gain. Also in early July, a recommendation to buy Westell Tech (Nasdaq:WSTL) close to $7 turned into another fast 25% gain as takeover speculation pushed the stock towards $10. Again, in the middle of July, BullTrade.com recommended buying AudioHighway (Nasdaq:AHWY) around $18 due to speculation that AOL (NYSE:AOL) would purchase the company and that AudioHighway would announce patent rights. The following day, the stock hit a high of $25 on news with Microsoft (Nasdaq:MSFT) allowing for an almost 40% gain.

The largest gain came in August when BullTrade.com recommended buying Grand Toys (Nasdaq:GRIN) under $7/share due to the Pokemon craze. Later in the month, Grand Toys traded at a high of just over $30, allowing for a 400% gain. In September, BullTrade.com recommended buying Incyte Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq:INCY) due to the rise in other biotechs like Affymetrix (Nasdaq:AFFX) and Human Genome (Nasdaq:HGSI). The timing turned out to be the 52-week low for Incyte, which has recently come within a half point of $200/share. Also in September, BullTrade.com subscribers realized gains as high as 20% in stocks like P-com (Nasdaq:PCMS), FVC.com (Nasdaq:FVCX), Acacia Research (Nasdaq:ACRI) and @Home (Nasdaq:ATHM).

In October and November, the gains continued. Subscribers realized a better than 50% gain on VerticalNet (Nasdaq:VERT) and E-share (Nasdaq:ESHR), over 25% on SBA Comm. (Nasdaq:SBAC) and PurchasePro.com (NASDAQ:PPRO) and 15% on Echostar Comm. (Nasdaq:DISH). In December, subscribers saw a better than 50% gain in Cendant (NYSE:CD) and Euro909 (NASDAQ:ENON), 40% gain in Medimmune (Nasdaq:MEDI) and a 20% gain in QuePasa.com (Nasdaq:PASA).
