NAPERVILLE, Ill., March 13, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- John P. Calamos, President and Chief Investment Officer of CALAMOS(R) ASSET MANAGEMENT, INC., has announced that Patrick H. Dudasik has joined the firm as Senior Vice President. He will serve as the firm's Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.
In this newly created position, Mr. Dudasik is responsible for financial, technology and administrative areas of the firm. The expansion of CALAMOS and its product offerings as well as the growing sophistication of its services created the need for this leadership role.
Mr. Dudasik joins CALAMOS after 18 years at Zurich Kemper Investments, Inc., where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and additional CFO experience. He earned a B.S. degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University and is a CPA. He began his professional career with KPMG.
