With effect from 02.01.2002 BOEWE SYSTEC AG will be acquiring a 60% majority shareholding in Protechno Card GmbH, Paderborn. The existing shareholder will continue to hold a 40% stake and act as Chief Executive.
Protechno Card GmbH, founded in 1986, is seen as one of the worldwide leading technology providers of hardware and software systems for the personalization of paper and plastic cards as well as dispatch systems in the medium output range.
With this product portfolio Protechno Card GmbH ideally complements the existing product range of BOEWE SYSTEC AG:
-- The personalization of plastic cards is the upstream production
stage for BOEWE SYSTEC AG dispatch systems and consequently
provides the perfect addition to the existing product program
