HELSINKI, Finland, Jan. 28, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Board of Directors has named Mr. Michael J. Rusert as Chief Executive Officer and President and as a member of the expanded Board of Directors of Artemis International Solutions Corporation (AISC) effective immediately. The present President and CEO, Steven Yager, who will continue to serve on the AISC Board of Directors, was nominated as the Vice Chairman of the board.
Michael J. Rusert has extensive experience in management positions within multinational high technology companies, such as Canon Computer Systems, Inc., Ameriquest Technology, Inc. and Exxon Office Products, Inc.
The AISC Board of Directors also elected Mr. James Cannavino as the new Chairman of the Board. Mr Cannavino has been a member of the Board since January 1999. Mr. Cannavino is currently Chairman of the Board of DirectInsite Corporation (DIRI), a leading company in data base and electronic billing and bill presentment. Prior to joining DirectInsite, Mr. Cannavino has served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Perot Systems Corporation. He has also held a variety of senior executive positions at IBM and served as the member of the Board of Directors of IBM's Integrated Services and Solutions Company.
The other members of the Artemis International Solutions Corporation Board of Directors are: Klaus Cawen, Alec Gores, Ari Horowitz, Pekka Pere, Bryan Plug and Olof Odman.
