GOTEBORG, Sweden, Feb. 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- In accordance with SKF's Stock Option Programme, 271 managers have been granted a total of 589 950 stock options to buy existing SKF B shares. The grant is free of charge and is based on the SKF Group earnings for 2001.
Each option gives the right to purchase one existing SKF B share at the exercise price of SEK 246 during a period of six years. The stock options can be exercised to acquire shares two years from the date of granting at the earliest, provided employment with SKF still exists.
