DALLAS, Feb. 26, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dresser, Inc. President and CEO Patrick Murray today announced the appointment of Charles S. Wolley to the position of president of Dresser Measurement, a business unit of Dresser, Inc. Mr. Wolley was previously the senior vice president of the business unit, and will report to Mr. Murray in his new position.

Wolley's career in manufacturing started over 25 years ago at Watts Industries, Inc., where he eventually became president of Leslie Controls. In 1996, he joined Dresser Valve and Controls division as general manager of the Masoneilan Avon, Massachusetts, operation and was later promoted to executive vice president of the division. From 1999 to 2001, Wolley served as president and chief executive officer of Van Leeuwen Pipe and Tube in Houston, Texas. In mid-2001 he joined Dresser Measurement as Senior Vice President. Wolley is a graduate of Cornell University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering in 1976.
