TietoEnator Acquires the CIS Activities of ABB Energy Information Systems


ESPOO, Finland, March 20, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- TietoEnator acquires the CIS activities (Customer Information Systems) of ABB Energy Information Systems with 61 employees, and 50% of the shares of Prototum AB from ABB Energy Information Systems AB. After this transaction, TietoEnator owns 100% of the shares of Prototum AB. Prototum own all IPR's (Intellectual Property Rights) to Elegansplus, a market leading system for customer handling in the Swedish energy market.
