STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 20, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Observer group has appointed Mariann Klint president of Observer Sverige AB. She was most recently with iobox Svenska AB, where she also served as managing director.
Mariann, 46, was also formerly country manager for Reuters in Sweden and has extensive experience in marketing and sales in the financial sector.

"Against this backdrop, it has been important to find a person who combines management experience with a marketing background. Mariann has worked with marketing issues in industries that are important clients of Observer, and she will be a big asset."
