STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Per Uebel, national manager in Sweden and temporary national manager in Germany, has received the position as head of ICA's store management. Uebel will also be part of the management of ICA Handlarnas AB. For this reason, Per Uebel has decided to leave Lindex.
Recruiting for a new national manager for Sweden has begun and the ambition is to find a replacement before Per Uebel leaves, no later than December 2002.
The search for a new national manager in Germany is going according to plan, and the aim here as well is to have the new person on staff before Per Uebel leaves. Anita Strandberg will continue to be the operative manager for the German business.
