(OTCBB:VSYS) President and CEO, Stephen Pineau, is pleased to announce that The Company has completed initial development of its MESH TS family of interactive building communication kiosks. The first MESH TS panels to be released will be computerized touch screen displays to be used for a range of building entry and communication functions. This includes telephone entry for high-rises and gates, security communications for guard stations and concierge functions. The product will be shown at the upcoming American Society for Industrial Security tradeshow in Philadelphia. The ASIS tradeshow is the largest such show in the world with over 2000 exhibits and Viscount's new MESH technology is specifically designed for this year's homeland security focus.
"The MESH TS panels represent a radical shift in the concept of security and voice functions," noted Mr. Pineau. "The most advanced traditional panels do little more than show a digital list of names that can be dialed to gain entry to a facility. The MESH TS system provides functions never before available in this environment. For example, the panels are fully internet functional and can display full video and website information. Built-in video cameras take time and date stamped video images of all building traffic and entry system usage. The images can be transmitted automatically to security desks or off-site monitoring facilities."
"These units are a key component in our MESH technology designed to converge voice (intercom), data (card access/security) and video (CCTV) functions for building security and control," noted Mr. Pineau. "The core software of the MESH TS units will also be used for a series of enhancements. This includes emergency phones for elevators and parking areas and integration with video teleconferencing telephones for video intercom applications. MESH TS panels can be operated as standalone units or as accessories connected to a MESH server where full MESH functions are employed."
