NCC to Construct Waste Incineration Plant in Linkoping for SEK 200 Million


SOLNA, Sweden, Sept. 6, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Construction Sweden has been commissioned by Tekniska Verken in Linkoping to conduct construction and civil-engineering work for a new waste-incineration plant in Garstad, Linkoping. The order is worth about SEK 200 million.

The assignment includes construction of a fourth refuse furnace at the Garstad Plant. The new building, which will feature refuse-reception, furnace and flue-gas cleaning capabilities, will be slightly more than 100 meters long, 50 meters high and 50 meters wide.

Work will begin in the autumn. At most, about 40 employees will be engaged in NCC's assignment at the Garstad Plant.
