NCC to Construct Offices and Studios for Danmarks Radio for SEK 210 Million


SOLNA, Sweden, Sept. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Construction Denmark has secured a contract from Danmarks Radio (Danish national radio and television) to construct offices and studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. The order is valued at approximately SEK 210 million (about DKK 166 million).

The order is about concreting work for the first phase of the "DR Byen" (DR village), in Orestaden, just outside Copenhagen. This initial phase consists of a building with 55,000 square meters of floor space.

The assignment will be performed in cooperation that is similar to partnering, meaning that the parties conduct the project in close cooperation on budget, schedule, quality issues and functionality.

Work will commence in November and is scheduled for completion in December 2003.
