Report from the Extraordinary General Meeting of Anoto Group AB


LUND, Sweden, Sept. 24, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- At today's Extraordinary General Meeting of Anoto Group it was unanimously resolved to approve the Board's decision to implement a new share issue with preferential rights for present shareholders and the pertaining adjustment of the capital limits specified in the Articles of Association.

Fully subscribed the issue will provide Anoto Group with about SEK 207 million before deduction for issue expenses. Each three shares held entitle the holder to subscribe for one new share at a price of SEK 8. The subscription period is October 4 - 24, 2002. Last day of trading in shares including the right to take part in the new issue is Wednesday September 25, 2002.

"Work on the new issue is proceeding entirely according to plan. We feel very comfortable about the fact that major shareholders and new investors are behind us, having declared their intent to subscribe for at least 60 per cent of the new issue," said Christer Fahraeus, CEO, Anoto Group AB.

In connection with the general meeting a demonstration of Logitech io, PC manufacturer Logitech's digital pen with Anoto functionality for PC, was demonstrated. The digital pen, Logitech io, will be marketed in the US and on selected markets in Europe starting November 2002.

Logitech is Anoto's second partner to commercially launch a digital pen enabling Anoto functionality.

In addition to Logitech io also Chatpen, Sony Ericsson's digital pen enabling Anoto functionality, and a selection of C Technologies' products for example C-Pen 10, were demonstrated.
