FOERSLOEV, Sweden, Oct. 17, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Peab has won the contract to build a new arterial road into Malmo from the Outer Ring Road. The client is the City of Malmo and the contract is worth SEK 75 million.
The road, which will be 2.5 km long, will run from Bunkeflo, south of Malmo, to an intersection with Lorensborgsgatan. The contract also includes three traffic roundabouts, five flyovers, a 1,000 metre of noise protection wall, anti-noise banks and protective shrubberies.
Work will begin in November 2002 and is expected to be completed during winter 2003.
