ECULLY, France, Nov.8, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Further to its decision of January 8 authorizing Groupe SEB's take-over of selected assets of Moulinex-Krups, the European Commission gave its agreement regarding the Moulinex brand licensee candidates that Groupe SEB had proposed for the nine European countries concerned by the issue.
For Germany, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal, a license contract has been signed with SAECO International Group Spa.
For Greece, Elektrolink S.A., a subsidiary of Benrubi & Sons S.A. Group will dedicate its efforts to this license.
These Moulinex brand licenses, allowed for 5 years as from January 1, 2003, are completed with product supply agreements towards Groupe SEB.
