Nokia and Orange A/S in Denmark have agreed on the supply of Nokia's multimedia messaging service (MMS) solution to bring Orange's Danish customers the latest in mobile services. The end-to-end Nokia solution gives mobile users the chance to enjoy advanced person-to-person messaging that blends text, images, graphics, voice and audio clips into a single message.
The agreement calls for the supply of a complete MMS solution, including the Nokia MMS Center, the Nokia Multimedia Terminal Gateway for non-MMS phones, the Nokia WAP Gateway, the Nokia Terminal Management Server and the Nokia Profile Server.
The Nokia solution has been delivered and is fully operational.
In addition to the MMS platform, Nokia is providing operator services for implementation, Help-Desk, Emergency Support, software and hardware support and maintenance to ensure and maintain the competitiveness of the MMS solution. Operations support systems (OSS) support is also included.
