Giwano Computers Ltd. and Incap Corporation have signed a co-operative agreement concerning the manufacturing of safe computers. Incap has done the mechanical design of the product and will be responsible for its manufacturing, assembly and testing. Pre-series production was started at the end of 2002, and the first deliveries will be shipped from Incap's Helsinki Unit in February 2003.

The unique structure of the safe computer developed by Giwano eliminates some of the risks related to the handling of confidential and statutorily classified data. The computer consists of two separate processing units, one for internal and the other for external data. All data crucial for corporate operations will be stored in the Safe Unit physically separate from the Internet. Giwano safe computer can also be used to integrate the data systems of networked companies and their customers.
