Good Poetry Just Makes Sense -- The Poetsmith Offers Poems for Everybody in a New Poem Book

BOCA RATON, Fla., February 12, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Robert Frost thought that poetry was for everyone, all classes. So "The Poetsmith" agrees. Stephen F. Knapp, "the Poetsmith", has spun a volume of easily understandable poetry entitled Good Poetry That Makes Sense (now available through 1stBooks Library).

Knapp offers the world a wealth of creative ideas and insights. Some poems are fiction like "The Angel" and "The Great Blue Heron", and others are non-fiction like "The Saddest Day" and "A Mirror to Heaven". Separated into ten chapters, Good's poems run the gamut of styles and emotions. The Love Chapter offers various styles and structures and situations on one of humanity's most complex emotions. Poems of 20 individual interests based on the 23rd Psalm structure makes up the Psalm Chapter. From golf and humor to personal and story poems, each chapter offers the reader copious choices and room for debate over which is the best. The Poetsmith believes it can "easily be understood and enjoyed by all". Good Poetry That Makes Sense is a competent poetry book waiting to be devoured by hungry readers searching for gourmet writing.

"The Poetsmith" Stephen F. Knapp grew up in a small town in Kansas. Both his father and grandfather were lawyers, but Knapp went a different route. At age 14, he was the one of the youngest radio announcer. He attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He earned bachelor of science degrees in psychology and sociology from Utah State University, an MBA in marketing from the University of Houston and a MPA from Florida Atlantic University. He currently lives in Boca Raton, Fla. with his wife and two youngest children. This is "The Poetsmith's" first book.
