Observer's Board of Directors Proposes Dividend of SEK 0.45


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Observer AB (Other OTC:OBSEF) (Stockholm:OBS) is quoted on the Attract40 section of Stockholmsborsen's O-list and has approximately 28,000 shareholders.


 -- Year-end report, January - December 2002

    Observer's Board of Directors has adopted the preliminary year-end 
    report, which was distributed on January 31, 2003. The report is 
    available on the company's Website, www.observergroup.com

 -- Dividend

    The Board of Directors is recommending that the Annual General
    Meeting approve a dividend of SEK 0.45 (0.45) per share.

 -- Share repurchase

    To increase the flexibility of Observer's capital structure and
    complement its dividend policy, it has been proposed that the
    Annual General Meeting authorize the Board of Directors to decide
    on a repurchase of Observer shares.

 -- Annual General Meeting

    The Annual General Meeting will be held at 5:00 pm (CET) on
    May 6, 2003 at Ingenjorshuset/Citykonferensen, Malmskillnadsgatan 46, 
    Stockholm.
