OSLO, Norway, March 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stolt-Nielsen S.A. (Nasdaq:SNSA) (Oslo Stock Exchange:SNI) today announced that its annual meeting of Shareholders will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2003 at 2 p.m. local time at the offices of Services Generaux de Gestion S.A., 23, avenue Monterey, L-2086 Luxembourg. All shareholders of record as of March 20, 2003 will be entitled to vote at the meeting.
In line with previous practice, the Company will also hold informal shareholder information meetings in the United States and Norway. Presentations by senior management from Stolt-Nielsen will be made followed by a question and answer session. These meetings are open to the Company's current and prospective shareholders, analysts, and bankers.
The meeting in New York City will take place on Monday, April 7, 2003, at 10:30 a.m. EST at Citibank, 153 East 53rd Street, 14th floor. Results for the first quarter ending February 28, 2003 will be released on Thursday, April 3, 2003. In Oslo, the meeting will be on Thursday, April 10, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. local time at Den norske Bank ASA, Auditory, Stranden 21.
The shareholder information meetings for Stolt Offshore S.A. will precede the Stolt-Nielsen S.A. shareholder information meetings at the same locations at 9:30 a.m. in New York and 8:30 a.m. in Oslo.
