The Board of Directors of SGS Société Générale de Surveillance Holding SA, Geneva is pleased to announce that it will propose the addition of the Rt. Hon. Mike Moore and Mr. Carlo Maria Vismara as Directors of the company at its next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 14 May 2003.
The Rt. Hon. Mike Moore (1949) is a former Prime Minister of New Zealand. Following a distinguished political career, he was appointed General Director of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). He is recipient of numerous international and national awards and Adjunct Professor at Adelaide University Australia and La Trobe University Australia. He is also author of various books, the latest one being "A world without walls".
Mr. Carlo Maria Vismara (1957) is member of the Executive Board and Finance Director of Worms and Cie, Paris. He holds a degree in Economics from the University Bocconi. He started his career with Andersen and from 1986 to 1994 he was head of Development and then Finance Director of the Group Rinascente. He later became responsible for the development of the retail distribution of IFIL. He sits on the supervisory board of Antalis International and ArjoWiggings as well as on the Board of Directors of Rinascente.
Mr. Ferruccio Luppi, Chief Financial Officer of Fiat SpA, will step down from the SGS Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
