Heymo Ingeniería awarded plant engineering and site supervision contracts for EUR 1.5 million in Spain

Heymo Ingeniería S.A., which is part of the Jaakko Pöyry Group´s Energy business group, has been awarded engineering contracts by L´Air Liquide for the new hydrogen and carbon dioxide plants in A Coruña, Spain. Heymo´s services include preliminary and basic engineering, detail engineering, procurement services as well as workers' health and safety coordination at the construction phase. The value of the services amount to EUR 1.5 million.

This assignment is a continuation of the long-term collaboration with Air Liquide in developing its industrial gas plants in Spain. Recently Heymo Ingeniería signed a similar contract for the Puertollano hydrogen and carbon dioxide plants.

Present in 65 countries, Air Liquide is the world leader in industrial and medical gases and related services. The Group offers innovative solutions based on constantly enhanced technologies. The Puertollano and A Coruña plants will produce hydrogen for the nearby Repsol YPF petroleum refineries.

Heymo Ingeniería has a long track record in basic engineering, detail engineering and project management for industrial plants in Spain and abroad. This contract further expands Heymo Ingeniería's service portfolio within the oil and gas sector in Spain.

The Energy business group, operating under the brand name Electrowatt-Ekono, had net sales of EUR 112 million in 2002. Electrowatt-Ekono has offices in 20 countries and employs 1100 experts worldwide.
