One of the producing wells in the Tasour field was shut in for a brief period in May in connection with the replacement of a pump in the well. This is the main reason why production from Yemen was approximately 850 barrels per day lower than in April.
A well has now been spudded in the western flank of the Tasour field.
Production from the Norwegian shelf declined by about 440 barrels per day compared with April.
Production from the Thistle field increased somewhat in May, contributing to an increase in the total production from the UK shelf of about 410 barrels of oil per day compared with April.
