COPENHAGEN, Denmark, August 06, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- For July 2003, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport shows a decrease of 3.1% compared to the same month in 2002. The development in the number of passengers for the first 7 months of the year shows a decrease of 4.5% compared with the same period last year. Consequently, the decrease in July has been reduced with 1.7% compared with the average for the first 6 months of the year, which was 4.8%.
International passengers
The number of scheduled international passengers decreased by 1.8%, while the number of international charter passengers decreased by 10.1%. Thus, the total number of international passengers decreased by 2.6%.
Domestic passengers
The total number of domestic passengers shows a decrease of 9.1% compared with 2002.
Operations and take-off weight
In July 2003, the total number of take-offs and landings decreased by 6.2%, while the tonnage shows a decrease of 5.3%.
