COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Sept. 4, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- For August 2003, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport shows a decrease of 0.8% compared to the same month in 2002. The development in the number of passengers for the first 8 months of the year shows a decrease of 4.0% compared with the same period last year.International passengers The number of scheduled international passengers decreased by 0.2%, while the number of international charter passengers decreased by 1.3%. Thus, the total number of international passengers decreased by 0.3%.
Domestic passengers
The total number of domestic passengers shows a decrease of 6.4% compared with 2002.
Operations and take-off weight
In August 2003, the total number of take-offs and landings decreased by 3.8%, while the tonnage shows a decrease of 4.7%.
