BOYNTON BEACH, Fla., Sept. 15, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Jacobson Resonance Enterprises, Inc. (OTCBB:JRSE) announced today that the company's Board of Directors has approved expanding and strengthening its management team.
Joining the company as Vice President and new Chief Operating Officer is Anthony P. Fusco Jr. Mr. Fusco has over thirty years experience of broad managerial expertise. He is a dedicated achiever who has demonstrated outstanding success in planning and organizing company resources, engendering the support of staff, and delivering on organizational commitments.
Examples of business successes include his being directly responsible for increasing sales by 20% while CEO at Ideal Marketing Concepts, Inc., a wholesale Pharmaceutical Company. As CEO and President of Island Bar Services, Inc., of New York, Mr. Fusco doubled product sales in one year. Additionally he diversified the company by creating a finance division and eventually acquiring several companies in niche market segments. Utilizing his diverse experience, in recent years Mr. Fusco successfully consulted as an advisor in the mergers and acquisition arena.
Mr. Fusco holds both Baccalaureate and Master's degrees in Mathematics from Fordham University, New York. Throughout the years he has taught mathematics on a part-time basis and more recently has contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at various institutions of higher learning in South Florida, including City College and Keiser College.
Fusco stated: "I look forward to implementing the Board of Director's initiatives in achieving commercialization and profitability as we move through 2004. I am committed to reinforcing our marketing efforts already established in Europe and Canada and while expanding off-shore into the clinical and leisure arenas."
Harvey Grossman, outgoing Chief Operating Officer will remain President and assume the role of Chief Strategic Officer. This new role will include the development of strategies for the worldwide licensing and marketing of Jacobson Resonance in medicine, the leisure/spa arenas and other non-regulatory applications such as Veterinary Medicine and resonated/energized water and beverages. Mr. Grossman will also organize the company's new Department of Education and Training that is crucial for commercialization and profitability.
Mr. Emilio R. Lopez who joined JRSE in May of 2002 as a consultant to Latin American business development is assuming an expanded role. Mr. Lopez will now act as an Executive Consultant for Worldwide Business Development.
Mr. Lopez was an executive of Medtronic (MDT) serving in multiple key senior management positions from 1977 until his retirement in 2002. Mr. Lopez directed Medtronic's Latin American Operations and served as its Vice President of Operations for all of Medtronic's core businesses in the region inclusive of Cardiac Rhythm Management, Interventional Vascular, Cardiac Surgery and Neurological Initiatives. Additionally he managed a distribution network for medical devices over 150 representatives/dealers. Mr. Lopez was responsible for delivering a sales growth rate of approximately 20% per year during his tenure. Prior to joining Medtronic, Mr. Lopez served in several senior management capacities with American Cyanamid Company, Lederle Laboratories and Davis & Geck Surgical Division. Mr. Lopez holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from the University of Puerto Rico.
