BRUSSELS, Belgium, Oct. 1, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Virgin Express Holdings Plc (OTCBB:VIRGY) (Euronext Brussels:VIRE) will start operating a daily flight between Amsterdam and Milan-Linate.
Linate offers the important advantage that the airport is situated only 7 km from the city-centre.
The distance between the Italian capital of fashion and its other airport, Malpensa, is 45 km.
The fares on the Amsterdam-Milan route will be in line with the usual Virgin Express low-fare policy. Introductory fares for the new route start at E29 (one-way, exc. taxes).

Amsterdam-Milan will be the second low-fare scheduled service offered by Virgin Express from Schiphol Airport. Earlier this year the Belgian low fare carrier started operating flights successfully between Amsterdam and Rome.
