BALTIMORE, Nov. 6, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VYST) announces the company has begun fulfilling its back orders with the shipment of a Secure Scan Portal to the Boulder County, Colorado Justice Center. This installation is in addition to multiple portals already operating in the Denver/Boulder metropolitan area.
This installation was highlighted in a recent news article dated October 31st in the Boulder Colorado local daily paper. In this article Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle commented on the Secure Scan Portal, "We're building a new building and buying the newest technology. It's very popular, not obtrusive, and it's fast ... It's the up-and-coming thing." Additionally County spokesman Jim Burrus stated, "The weapons detector was part of the building's infrastructure that the County volunteered to pay for."
This courthouse averages 1,100 visits a day, and with the new expansion officials fear the old x-ray machine will not be able to keep up with the additional traffic. Sheriff Pelle added, "The biggest benefit will be people won't have to empty their pockets and wait for their briefcase or purse to go through the x-ray machine. Instead, people will walk through the detector with all their items, and if the alarm is triggered, a deputy will check them individually. We will be able to handle large lines of people quickly."
