PHOENIX, Ariz., Nov. 13, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Viastar Holdings Inc. (OTCBB:VISH) announced today that it has signed pop/rock recording artists, "The Elliots" to a multi-album recording contract. The debut CD is scheduled for first quarter 2004 release with the breakout single "What is it about Love". The group has quickly come on the scene with its solid songwriting, dynamic vocal harmonies and strong musicianship. Viastar's management moved quickly to secure a long-term recording contract with the band, recognizing the potential of breaking these music professionals on a national basis.
"The Elliots" are unique by way of the members and their respective talents. Kate Russo's multi-octave vocals and unique approach to rock & blues 5-string electric violin and keyboards, has already created a significant regional fan base and media "buzz" for the group. Her counterparts, guitarist Blake Thompson, and bassist Ivan Harshman, are likewise stellar singer-songwriters in their own rite. With tracks like "What is it about Love", "Tumblin' Down" and "Rock and a Landslide," the company anticipates strong national response for the debut album.
"It's not often that we, as executive producers, are blessed to have such talented break-out artists," states Viastar CEO John D. Aquilino. "The package, people and the pure talent here are a perfect fit for our music production, marketing and distribution personnel... truly, a rare opportunity."
The company is currently refining its production and national radio promotion plans for this first of four albums from "The Elliots" and will set the street date within the next 30 days.
