I would like to inform you of Ahold's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders that will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. CET in the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, Piet Heinkade 27 in Amsterdam. Registration for media representatives will start at 9:00 a.m. CET, for which proof of identity (press card or passport) will be required.
Please inform Ahold by e-mail by replying to this e-mail or by phone (at +31 75 659 5720) no later than Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 12:00 p.m. CET that you will be attending this meeting.
A 10-minute photo session with the members of the Supervisory Board and the Corporate Executive Board will be held before the start of the meeting. In order to ensure an orderly meeting, no photographs may be taken once the meeting has started. Additionally, no live reports from the scene will be permitted once the meeting has started. Please communicate this to your photo desk and/or your camera teams.
Please note that it will not be possible to enter or re-enter the shareholders' meeting after it has started. A section will be reserved for media representatives at the back of the auditorium. A special pressroom will be available with regular facilities for all other reporters and two ISDN lines for radio reporters and wire services.
