CHOWCHILLA, Calif., Dec. 3, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Global Diversified Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:GDVI) is pleased to announce that its modular division, Global Modular, Inc., has completed its first order for a high-tech specialty modular structure. The project consists of a modular science laboratory purchased by the Hilmar Unified School District in central California. The structure will be primarily used for biology, chemistry and physics laboratory classes for high school students.
Approximately two months ago, representatives from the school district contacted Global Modular during its search for a modular provider who could accommodate the districts' needs in a quick time frame. As part of the negotiating process, district representatives visited Global Modular's manufacturing plant in Chowchilla. After viewing several structures under fabrication along with finished product waiting to be delivered, Hilmar USD representatives were convinced of Global Modular's ability to provide them with a quality product expeditiously.
Global Diversified Industries, Inc. Chairman and CEO Phil Hamilton said the Company is "pleased that Hilmar USD selected Global Modular to fulfill its requirements. The structure possesses quality custom components, including lab benches, mill work, specialty sinks, and other items, for science-related instruction and experiments." Mr. Hamilton added that "due to Global Modular's in-depth variety of California State pre-approved designs, we were able to start production on this structure quickly, eliminating down-time waiting the state approval process. The building is currently being installed on-site and should be ready for occupancy within two weeks."
