FOERSLOEV, Sweden, Dec. 9, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Peab has won an order to build a culture and activity centre in Oppegard, just south of Oslo. The client is Oppegard municipality and the contract is worth NOK181 million, around SEK 200 million.
The purpose of the activity centre is to be a meeting place comprising a library, cultural school, day care centre for the elderly, teaching facilities for immigrants, cafe, exhibition facilities, theatre, cinema and more.
It is a partnering contract, due to start in January 2004 and is expected to be finished in November 2005.
