The Technology Leadership Award identifies companies with exceptional technology products, offerings and services that are uniquely capable of meeting challenges in a particular application area. Frost & Sullivan cited Deepwater and INS TEAMS as key programs demonstrating excellence in promoting homeland security.

Northrop Grumman was cited by Frost & Sullivan, based on their role in the Deepwater program, on its deep understanding of vertical technologies required by maritime vessels involved in military missions as well as its broad integration skills supporting the U.S. Coast Guard's acquisition of three classes of new cutters and their associated small boats.
Northrop Grumman was also cited by Frost & Sullivan for its proven technological leadership in homeland security applications where information sharing is critical. The company's INS TEAMS contract is to provide security and support for the INS' primary IT infrastructure, including more than 40,000 desktops, servers and local area networks for more than 1,400 sites internationally.
