BALTIMORE, Dec. 31, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VYST) announced today they will begin fulfilling pending orders for the HAZCAM during the first quarter of 2004. The company will complete the orders initiated prior to acquiring the marketing rights from the Federal Lab INEEL and recognize all revenues from the transactions.
In 2003 View Systems put in place the structure necessary to expand their sales channels and acquisition of new technologies. This included focusing on the key components of management, money, manufacturing and marketing. View Systems obtained bridge financing and restructured its executive management team, brought several manufacturing phases in house and strengthened its marketing efforts. Reaching their goals ahead of schedule allowed the company to pursue their long-term vision of being a more comprehensive homeland security company with multiple product offerings.
Adding the HAZCAM to View's growing distribution channels will lead to larger sales from individual institutions and position the company to be a major player in the security industry. Currently the company is completing its largest manufacturing cycle of Secure Scan Portals. The company will have twenty units built and ready for installations during the first quarter of which eight will be immediately installed to satisfy backorders with the balance currently being negotiated for sale and delivery in the first quarter. As a result of increased marketing efforts Viewmaxx sales has seen a dramatic rise in during November and December since the company has been targeting a broader range of clientele.
The initial benefits of acquiring this technology will be recognized in the first quarter, as eleven pending orders for the HAZCAM will be completed. The company will be working closely will laboratory employees to expand their distribution of the HAZCAM as well as the Secure Scan Portal, building prosperous relationships for years to come. The company has already begun marketing efforts to educate their existing distributors of this new product offering and to attract new resellers
