VARNAMO, Sweden, Feb. 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Finnveden: January 1 -- December 31, 2003


 -- Net sales amounted to SEK 4,631 M (4,550). Net sales for the 
    fourth quarter amounted to SEK 1,181 M, representing a 4% 
    increase for comparable units.

 -- Operating income amounted to SEK 187 M (loss: 91), including 
    SEK 44 M (loss: 13) for the fourth quarter. Income for 2002 
    included items affecting comparability of SEK 222 M, of which 
    the fourth quarter accounted for SEK 36 M.

 -- The restructuring projects were carried out.

 -- Cash flow after investments amounted to SEK 239 M (267).

 -- Profit after taxes amounted to SEK 80 M (loss: 180).

 -- Earnings per share amounted to SEK 3.01 (loss: 6.79).

 -- No dividend is proposed (0).
