Trans Max Technologies Inc. Announces Corporate Plans for 2004

RONKONKOMA, N.Y., March 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Trans Max Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:TMXT), Chairman and CEO Peter Mergenthaler has provided the following open letter to all shareholders and the investment community outlining the Company's business and plans: Trans Max Technologies, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Perma-Tune Electronics, Inc. through its Plasmatronics division is a developmental Company engaged in the automotive and marine electronics industry and has several cutting edge products that were recently introduced at the Miami International Boat Show.

The Company is also in active negotiations with several companies which we feel are natural acquisitions. These companies could provide Trans Max with complimentary products, engineering and manufacturing facilities. Trans Max is working to quickly become the leader in electronic ignition and ignition-based products for the automotive, boating and trucking markets.

The Trans Max line of products is both comprehensive and revolutionary. Located in a state-of-the-art 65,000 square foot facility, Trans Max Technologies, Inc. has been able to provide its team of scientists, engineers and developers an environment that fosters creativity and cutting edge thinking. This has created a line of products and technologies that are near to market, that is providing new and exciting answers for problems which have been facing the automotive, boating and trucking industries for years.

While some may say that providing new solutions for ignitions may seem less than exciting, we know these markets offer our company a chance to sell products and services into multi-billion dollar industries which are struggling to find solutions. Our products are proven solutions for the age-old question, "How can we provide better gas mileage, dependability and torque from the internal combustion engine." These industries have the questions . . . we have the ANSWERS!

Our current product line consists of the Plasma Drive Ignition System and is expected to expand to a variety of other leading-edge products in the summer of 2004. These new products and associated services include the Plasma/Fuel Management System, the Plasma Assisted Diesel Engine Conversion, Flat Panel Display and Engine Management System, collaboration between Perma-Tune & Aero Marine Engine, Inc. and the Vessel Smart Wiring System. All of these products and systems are expected to bring in significant revenues within months of their introductions to the Automotive, Boating and Trucking markets.

The new products we are introducing are listed below with a thumb nail sketch of each.

Plasma Drive Ignition System: The Plasma Drive Ignition (PDI) system is a new kind of ignition that can either be used by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) or retrofitted to most non-diesels, gas engines. Tests show that significant increases of 12-15% in fuel mileage are immediately recognized along with increasing horsepower and reducing harmful emissions. This product is currently in production. Lonnie Lenarduzzi, president and chief scientist for Perma-Tune states, "To understand what we've done with the Plasma Drive Ignition, you must throw out everything you knew about spark ignition. This is a completely new way of achieving incredibly efficient combustion. Using never-before exploited principles of physics, the PDI produces a cleaner burn than ever before possible; converting nearly all available fuel -- whatever it may be -- to torque. This process results in a thrilling, measurable increase in performance, dramatically better fuel economy and as a result, reduced emissions."

Major marine engine manufacturers and boat companies expressed a high-level of interest in OEM agreements for Plasmatronics' electronics as soon as we are prepared to commit to shipping schedules and come to terms on technology integration contracts.

Cobra engines provided Plasmatronics with their standard 1,200 HP motor. Upon initial installation of their PDI system, dyno charts indicated an immediate gain of 25HP.

Plasma/Fuel Management System: The Plasma/Fuel Management System is an advanced engine management computer system which will be able to provide a comprehensive and real time management software system for up to 12 cylinders. The entire fuel management process can be individually monitored for each cylinder and changed as required in order to provide maximum fuel efficiency and horsepower for the engine.

Plasma Assisted Diesel Engine conversion: The Plasma Assisted Diesel Engine conversion project will be able to convert current diesel engines into more efficient platforms through the introduction of the Plasma Drive Ignition system. This will allow diesel engines to burn fuels more efficiently thereby increasing horsepower and fuel economy. This same system will also allow those same diesel engines to burn lower grade fuels and even additional fuel types. This is perfect for trucking, boating, and military applications.

Plasma Assisted Conversion of Gasoline Engines to Diesel: Initial tests have shown that certain gasoline engines have the capacity to be converted to run on diesel fuels. By doing this we are able to provide an engine which will be lightweight and powerful.

Vessel Smart Wiring System: The Vessel Smart Wiring system will combine state-of-the-art technologies such as Blue Tooth and other wireless technologies to create a complete fuel management system to replace the bulky wiring harnesses currently used today in the trucking and boating industries. Currently these industries use heavy cables and wiring that run from the controls of the boat or truck to the engines and other parts of the vessel. By using wireless technologies to implement our wiring assemblies we will save on space, weight and reduce maintenance requirements significantly over what is considered the industry standard today.

Flat Panel Engine Display and Management System: Perma-Tune Electronics is currently designing a revolutionary new touch-screen, flat-panel pilot instrumentation display for the marine industry. The panel will be fully visible in all light conditions, including direct sunlight. A wide variety of engine performance parameters can be simultaneously monitored by the pilot, while concurrently displaying global positioning, sonar and radar data. This one central display simplifies the pilot's job and un-clutters the dashboard. Bulky, failure-prone wiring harness bundles can be eliminated with this product, since a single RS-232 computer cable connects the engine management system to the display. Additional devices can be connected with a single RS-232 computer cable.

Collaboration Between Perma-Tune Electronics, Inc. & Aero Marine Engine, Inc.: As announced in a press release (August 28, 2003), Perma-Tune, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trans Max Technologies, Inc., has extended a $1,500,000.00 credit line to Aero Marine Engine, Inc. for design and engineering services to support the development and manufacture of its revolutionary Axial Vector Engine. Perma-Tune's plasma ignition technology is extremely advanced and compliments the new Axial Vector Motor very well, maximizing the engine's performance by boosting its combustion efficiency. This results in more torque and horsepower, improved fuel economy, the ability to use alternative fuels and lowered emissions.

Perma-Tune's executive and scientific team has seamlessly integrated its efforts with Aero Marine's new executives in a unified, synergistic and collaborative manner to fine-tune the Axial Vector Engine and bring it to market as quickly as possible. Aero Marine's new CEO, Richie Powers, and Executive VP of Marketing and Sales, Alan Cohen together bring decades of experience and connections to the team. This highly professional joint effort is being fully supported at the Trans Max level through the dedication of engineering personnel, manpower and financial backing to ensure its complete success.

Currently the company is working with companies and individuals in the automotive, boating and trucking industries to create and develop strategic and marketing alliances. Through these types of joint ventures and alliances we believe we will be able to make immediate and significant inroads into these industries resulting in immediate and long-term revenue streams for the company.

We at Trans Max believe that each of the above product lines serves a solution in areas which could potentially provide major revenues. We further believe these imaginative products have the possibility of becoming "industry standards" in the near future.

We believe in our products and have taken the position that they require either patent or intellectual property protection to secure our long term rights to these wonderful products. To further this goal we are pleased to announce that we have retained the services of Michelle Kallenbach Esq. as our counsel for intellectual property.
