OKLAHOMA CITY, March 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dobson Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:DCEL) plans to file an application with the Securities and Exchange Commission today to extend the filing period for its annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2003. The Company expects to file its Form 10-K within two weeks. Additional time is needed to correct an ambiguity in 2004 covenant language in the bank credit agreement of Dobson Cellular Systems, a Dobson subsidiary.
