From March 18-20, 2004, in the Austin Convention Center (500 East Cesar Chavez Street, 78701, 512-404-4000, Booth D15 and D16) at the 18th Annual SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas, Immediatek will showcase NetBurn(TM) and NetBurn Secure(TM) (www.netburncd.com) offering artists, record labels, distributors, and online music retailers a one-button solution which can securely burn an entire CD of music in just one click directly to CD-R that is usable on any electronic device on the market. The 2004 SXSW Music Festival trade show will be one of many events occurring to celebrate the product's rollout.
NetBurn's software platform will be demonstrated at SXSW by Zach Bair and advocate Pat DiNizio, solo artist and frontman of The Smithereens, who is recording and releasing an upcoming CD exclusively on the NetBurn Portal System and Immediatek's as-yet-unnamed record label in Dallas the week of SXSW. The NetBurn Portal System allows an independent artist or any artist for that matter to issue a recording worldwide within minutes of completing the recording with the best protection against online music piracy available. The NetBurn Portal System creates a shopping cart that resembles the artist's web site and blends into it seamlessly while being powered by Immediatek's back-end system. The fan can place a portal link on their web site and earn revenue along with the artist when the music is burned.
