STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 25, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- ForeningsSparbanken has noted the recent articles in Danish and Swedish newspapers regarding the Danish corporate bank FIH and speculations regarding the potential disposal of ForeningsSparbankens majority stake in it.
"We currently evaluate various strategic alternatives regarding our stake in FIH and have appointed Morgan Stanley as an advisor. No decisions have been made that give reason for any further comments at this point in time," said Carl Eric Stalberg, executive chairman of the board of ForeningsSparbanken.
