LIVONIA, Mich., March 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Power Efficiency Corporation (OTCBB:PEFF), developer and international marketer of patented electric energy-saving devices, appoints multiple sales firms implementing its revised sales strategy to sell its line of energy-saving motor controllers to domestic industrial customers through a broad network of independent sales representatives.
The sales representative firms were carefully chosen because of their experience with industrial motors and motor drives, their successful track record of building distribution channels within their territories, and their existing lines of complementary product offerings. Newly appointed firms include Bay One Marketing, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia; H. Sterling & Associates, Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio; and Heritage/Servicon, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Bob Gaboardi and Tom Griffies of Bay One Marketing said, "Power Efficiency's Performance Controller line is very exciting to us. Our customers are very concerned with the rising costs of energy, and we can now offer them a solution where none existed before. Also, our customers are attracted in the fact that the Performance Controller allows the under loaded motor to run cooler, which extends the life of their equipment and reduces maintenance costs."
Harry Sterling of H. Sterling & Associates stated, "I have sold various soft starts in the past, and none offered the energy savings of the Performance Controller. I believe that this product line will be a real winner for both my firm and my customers -- it is going to be a fun product to sell."
Tommy Bryant of Heritage/Servicon said, "Our firm has successfully sold motors, drives, controls, and motion products for 17 years, and the Performance Controller will be an exciting new product for both our end user customers and industrial distributors. The soft start and energy savings together in one rugged unit is an unbeatable combination."
"We are confident that this select group of professional sales representatives will substantially boost both our market awareness and revenue," said Richard J. Koch, Power Efficiency Corp. President and CEO. "This represents a key pillar of our overall sales strategy, and we are rapidly rolling out the appointment of new rep firms across the U.S. The relationship sales process offered by these engineered product sales reps is a natural fit for promoting the Performance Controller. Not only will these firms sell the Performance Controller directly, but they will also assist customers and consultants in the engineering specification process and set up regional distribution through specialty distributors, automation integrators, and energy service companies."
