STOCKHOLM, Sweden, March 30, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- CTT Systems announced, during the ongoing Hamburg Aircraft Interiors Expo, their new brand - Cair(TM) -- dedicated for the well-being and the health of the passengers and crew.Furthermore it brings a competitive advantage for today's Airlines in their struggle to attract the premium paying passengers and in particular on long haul flights.
Recent years have highlighted various problems related to cabin air quality and in particular the very dry air (5% RH) onboard long haul flights. Problems like dry skin, tiredness, jet lag and colds are connected to long haul flying but recently terms like deep vain thrombosis (DVT) and SARS frequently shows up in debates and articles around the globe.
With Cair(TM) onboard the humidity level is balanced to around 25% RH to create a pleasant surrounding for the human body. At the same time troublesome condensation is prevented in the aircraft structure. CTT is today the only systems provider capable of offering a total solution for the humidity problems.
"Airlines have spent millions of dollars in cabin upgrades with flat beds, IFE-equipment, internet connections, better meal service and rest areas. But one piece is still missing in the puzzle; why do you, in spite of all the new equipment and service, still arrive exhausted and wasted after a long haul flight?" asks Ulf Liljenberg, VP Sales & Marketing of CTT Systems. "The main reason is the dry cabin air. With Cair(TM) installed the Airlines can show they care for the health and comfort of their passengers and today's existing service and equipment will be even more appreciated by the passengers".
