PHOENIX, April 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- ViaStar Media Corporation (OTCBB:VISH) announced today that the Company has signed the Contemporary-Flamenco sensation "Mosaico" to its Quadra Records label. The first of four new titles is scheduled for release early this summer, 2004. The musicians and their dance ensemble are planning North American tour dates and in-store performances in support of record sales of their debut album, "Amor." ViaStar plans to aggressively work with its retail partners such as Borders, Barnes and Noble, Tower and Virgin Megastores to bring the unique Flamenco sound of "Mosaico" to an ever-widening audience. Radio promotion to both commercial and public formats will be serviced to create additional retail and direct sales opportunities as these world-class musicians come onto the national scene.
"Mosaico" is the collaboration of various musical genres from Nouveau-Classical to Flamenco. The artists are Sedona-based guitarist Monte Perrault and flautist Max Perrault. The musical expertise of the Perrault Brothers is complemented by vocalist-guitarist Gaetano, who, raised in Seville Spain, has studied throughout the world perfecting his Gypsy-Flamenco signature style.
Discovered by ViaStar Music Group Senior VP Gardner Cole, this world-class ensemble has created an exciting and engaging show resulting in live performances in excess of 300 days per year. ViaStar plans to develop a video for future release and promotion which will highlight their live show and display an array of Flamenco dance performances.
