Dr. Short has extensive experience in the design and management of complex computer network systems, having worked for various technology start-ups and well-known technology companies including Apple Computer. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA where he was a lead contributor to various ARPA sponsored wireless and mobile research projects including TRAVLER - Transparent Virtual Networking and WAMIS - Wireless Adaptive Mobile Information Systems.
