UK Government Department Swindon Borough Council starts $250,000 roll out program with Auto-Q International Inc.

LONDON, April 20, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Auto-Q International Inc., (OTCBB:AUTQ), a leading supplier of vehicle tracking and monitoring systems for trucking fleets and consumers, announced today that it has received a $20,000 purchase order to install its eGuard monitoring system in 14 refuse collection vehicles. The purchase order marks the start of a $250,000 roll out program.

Swindon Borough Council has turned to Auto-Q's eGuard vehicle monitoring system to protect itself against dubious claims and unfair complaints of poor service. The Council has chosen the Refuse Collection Department as the first department to be fully equipped with Auto-Q's eGuard system because of the complexity of the refuse collection rounds, which need to be re-planned when the department's vehicles are moved to new Transport Department premises some distance away in 3 weeks time. Using Auto-Q's advanced mapping the Council will be able to re-allocate certain routes or combine routes to take into account the new location of the department.

Swindon Council's program is to roll out the installation of the eGuard system to each of its other service departments once their vehicles are located in the new Transport Department premises. This will total 180 vehicles by the end of 2004. Additional eGuard systems will be added when the 140 older vehicles in the fleet are replaced over the next 2 years, to eventually equip the entire 350 vehicle fleet.

Jeff Bond, Swindon Transport Manager said, "We looked at a range of systems and chose eGuard after extensive trials on 33 of our vehicles because it offered the right package at the right price."

Auto-Q CEO Paul Spetch commented, "We are very pleased to work with Swindon Borough Council in their trial program and are delighted to be invited to supply our eGuard system to their whole fleet."
