COMSYS Invests In New Training Tool To Keep Consultants On Cutting Edge Of Technology

Books 24x7 added to extensive e-Learning program

HOUSTON, April 29, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- COMSYS Services LLC, a national leading provider of information technology staffing, services and solutions, announced today the addition of Books 24x7 to its comprehensive consultant e-Learning program. Books 24x7 allows consultants to efficiently search through numerous Referenceware libraries, creating improved access to the latest technical books and information. By continually enhancing technical skill sets through Internet-based training, COMSYS insures its clients have access to the highest caliber consultants.

Books 24x7 will be added to the current SkillPort e-Learning environment, which consists of more than 900 IT courses and 23 certifications. SkillPort is available through SkillSoft Corp., a leading provider of comprehensive, integrated e-Learning solutions for Global 2000 companies.

"With technology transforming rapidly, we work hard to provide consultants with the resources to sharpen their technical skills so they can continue to best help our clients achieve their strategic objectives," said President and CEO Mike Willis. "Technical consultants need to keep their skills and market expertise fresh to make them more marketable. Our consultants regularly invest time in improving their skills and furthering their understanding of the latest technology and upgrades, which translates into greater adaptability and flexibility within the workforce."

The e-Learning program includes self-paced training with simulations and screen shots, as well as customized coursework for certifications. The six key IT training areas include Web design, operating systems and server technology, desktop computer skills, enterprise database system solutions, Internet and network technologies, and software development. The program also includes updated information related to the products and services of major technology vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Cisco and Siebel.

"With more than 1,500 users of the e-Learning program, COMSYS is extremely committed to recruiting, developing, and retaining the best IT talent," said Patrick Bowman, manager of consultant development and relations.
