Powerwave Announces Trading of Shares on Stockholmsborsen (The Stockholm Exchange)


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Powerwave Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:PWAV) today announced that trading of its shares of common stock issued to non-US holders of LGP Allgon in the recently completed exchange offer will commence on the Stockholm Exchange on June 4, 2004. The shares will trade on the O-List of the Stockholm Exchange under the trading symbol "PWAV." Bruce C. Edwards, Chief Executive Officer of Powerwave, will join Anders Ackebo of the Stockholm Exchange to preside over the market opening of the Exchange at 9:30 a.m CET.
