STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hans G. Svensson has been named as new head of Corporate Communications at Skandia (Other OTC:SKNFF). Svensson joined Skandia in August 2000 and served most recently as head of Public Affairs on the corporate and Sweden levels. He is a former Undersecretary of State for the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs and former President of Forsakringskasseforbundet.
"Hans G. Svensson has a long record of experience in both social insurance and pension systems in Sweden and internationally. We are very happy to have him take on the job as head of Corporate Communications at Skandia," comments Hans-Erik Andersson, President and CEO of Skandia.
Hans G. Svensson will be a member of Skandia's executive management and assumes his position with immediate effect.
