"CinemaWorks"), a Canadian provider of Internet equipment and services specializing in the international hospitality market, has recently signed its first agency agreement with JETCOM Communications, Inc. of New York City to expand its future business in this strategic market. This relationship marks a departure from the Company's previous in-house sales, installation and maintenance support strategy.
JETCOM (www.jetcomcommunications.com) has been a leader in the New York City and vicinity hospitality telecom market since 1999, focusing on selling and supporting telecom equipment such as PBX's and call accounting systems.
CinemaWorks has determined that it can most effectively expand its business by signing agency agreements with hospitality telecom vendors in selected local markets. The JETCOM agency agreement describes the roles of both parties, which are broadly defined as: CinemaWorks will provide the integrated package of equipment, equipment warranty and maintenance services for the term of each hotel agreement. JETCOM will be contracted by CInemaWorks to provide sales, system installation and onsite maintenance while ongoing networks operations and guest help desk services remain with CinemaWorks. It is anticipated that JETCOM's local presence and good reputation will accelerate CinemaWorks' sales growth and will allow the Company to effectively provide preventative maintenance through periodic visits to hotel customers. In addition, JETCOM is positioned to also provide timely emergency field maintenance.
