ROBECO GROUP CENTRALIZES MANAGEMENT OF NORTH AMERICAN PORTFOLIOS

Robeco Group announced that it recently transferred management of approximately USD865 million in assets in its North American equity and fixed income portfolios to Weiss, Peck & Greer Investments (WPG), part of its U.S. subsidiary, Robeco USA. In the transfer, management of USD825 million in the Robeco North American Equities portfolio was transitioned from Robeco Europe to WPG, along with a USD40 million Robeco U.S. Bond portfolio.

The transferred portfolios represent investments by individual and institutional European investors in mutual funds marketed by the Robeco Group.  Robeco will continue to service the funds' clients, and will be responsible for administration and reporting. Robeco USA is the US-based institutional asset management arm of the Robeco Group.

Stefan Bichsel, CEO of Robeco USA, said: "This move reflects our philosophy of utilizing the 'best in class' managers for the various asset classes we have under management."

At WPG, the Robeco North American Equities portfolio will be co-managed by Easton Ragsdale, CFA and Managing Director, and Peter Albanese, Principal, in a quantitatively-driven style.  The Robeco U.S. Bonds portfolio will be co-managed by Thomas Girard, Managing Director, and Sid Bakst, Managing Director.
